Best 1440p 240Hz monitor right now for competitive FPS?

Upgrading from a 1080p 144Hz panel and want to land on a 1440p 240Hz for CS2/Valorant without overpaying. Torn between the fast-IPS options and the newer QD-OLED panels.

IPS pros: cheaper, no burn-in worry for someone who has the same HUD on screen for hours. OLED pros: insane motion clarity and contrast, but the price and burn-in anxiety give me pause for a competitive use case where static elements live on screen.

For pure competitive play where frames and motion clarity matter more than pretty colors — which way would you go, and any specific panels you'd vouch for?
