How We Make Money
PlanMyPC is a free service. We earn money through affiliate partnerships with online retailers. When you click a "Buy" or "View Deal" link on our site and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you.
Some store links are plain links that earn us nothing: we have no affiliate program with Corsair, NZXT, Keychron, Glorious, and Central Computers. We link to those stores only because they sell the part.
Our Affiliate Partners
We currently have affiliate relationships with:
- Amazon (Amazon Associates Program)
- Rakuten Advertising / LinkShare (for Newegg and Lenovo)
- CJ Affiliate (for SteelSeries, HP and BenQ)
How This Affects Our Recommendations
It doesn't. Our part recommendations, compatibility checks, and price comparisons are based entirely on publicly available specifications and pricing data. We do not favor any retailer or product based on commission rates.
We show you the lowest available price among the retailers we track, regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with that retailer. Our system builder and compatibility engine operate on technical specifications alone.
Price Accuracy
Prices shown on PlanMyPC come from retailer feeds and from the stores' own web pages, and may not always be perfectly up to date. We update prices regularly, but the final price at the retailer's website is the authoritative price. Always verify the price before completing a purchase.
FTC Compliance
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose that we receive compensation through affiliate links. This disclosure applies to all pages on PlanMyPC that contain links to retailer websites.
