About This Build
If this is your first build, start here. Everything in this list is forgiving to assemble and there are no traps. The Ryzen 5 5600 is still the budget GOAT — AM4 boards and DDR4 are cheap, so you save a ton versus jumping to AM5, and the gaming difference at 1080p is tiny.
The RX 7600 crushes 1080p high/ultra in basically everything at 60fps+, and 16GB of 3200 RAM is the right amount for now. I picked a CV650 PSU because cheaping out on power is the one mistake I beg first-timers not to make — this one is fully rated and quiet.
Under $730 all-in and it'll last you years. Add an SSD upgrade later and you're set.
