About This Build
Built this machine specifically for 3D rendering and video editing. The 7950X's 16 cores tear through Blender scenes and the 4080 SUPER's CUDA cores handle GPU rendering beautifully.
64GB of DDR5 at 6000MHz might seem like a lot, but when you're working with complex Blender scenes or multi-layer After Effects compositions, you'll use every byte. I've seen usage hit 50GB+ on some projects.
Went with two 2TB NVMe drives - one for the OS and applications, one as a dedicated scratch disk for video editing. The read/write speeds make scrubbing through 4K timelines buttery smooth.
The be quiet! cooler keeps things whisper-quiet even during long renders. When you're editing with headphones on, you don't want fan noise bleeding through. This thing is basically silent at idle and barely audible under load.
