According to TrendForce, DDR5 DRAM contract prices are expected to decline 25-30% in Q3 2025 due to oversupply and reduced demand from the mobile sector.

This should translate to DDR5-6000 32GB kits dropping to the $70-80 range. DDR5 is finally going to be genuinely cheap.

Great news for builders, not so great if you just bought RAM at current prices.

DDR5 was the last holdout making AM5 builds expensive. Once 32GB kits hit $70, there's zero reason to build on DDR4/AM4 anymore.

DDR5 was the last holdout making AM5 builds expensive. Once 32GB kits hit $70, there's zero reason to build on DDR4/AM4 anymore.
