Multiple board partners are reportedly being told to prepare for a late April launch of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and 9600X3D.
Leaked benchmarks show the 9800X3D trading blows with the 14900KS in gaming while using half the power. If pricing is anywhere near the 7800X3D's $449 launch price, this could be the gaming CPU to buy.
Take with the usual grain of salt, but the sources have been reliable in the past.

The 7800X3D has been the king of gaming for almost 2 years now. If the 9800X3D improves on that formula, it's going to be incredible. Hoping for a $399 price point.

This might finally push 7800X3D prices down to the $250-300 range on the used market. That's what I'm waiting for.
