After weeks of testing, here are my recommended Curve Optimizer settings for the 7800X3D on the ASUS B650-PLUS:

**PBO Settings:**

- PBO: Enabled

- PBO Limits: Motherboard

- Curve Optimizer: Per-Core

- Best cores: -15

- Other cores: -20

- Scalar: 1x (leave this alone)

**Results:**

- Stock: 4.95GHz all-core, 5.05GHz single

- With CO: 5.05GHz all-core, 5.15GHz single

- Temps dropped 3-4C at the same performance level

- Cinebench R23: 16,100 (stock) vs 16,800 (CO tuned)

**Stability testing:** Ran 1 hour of OCCT Small AVX2, 8 hours of y-cruncher, and 48 hours of daily use with no crashes.

**Warning:** Every chip is different. Start at -10 all-core and work your way down. If you get WHEA errors in Event Viewer, back off 5 counts on the offending core.

Great guide. I'd add that people should also check for WHEA errors in Event Viewer (eventvwr.msc). You can be 'stable' in stress tests but still throwing correctable errors that indicate the OC is marginal.
