6 months with the Fractal North - long term review

After 6 months of daily use, here are my honest thoughts on the Fractal Design North:
**Pros:**
- Looks incredible. Genuinely the best-looking case I've owned
- Acoustics are excellent - the wood panel dampens noise noticeably
- Easy to build in with good cable routing
- Dust filters are effective and easy to clean
**Cons:**
- Only fits 2x 140mm fans up front without removing the HDD cage
- Top radiator clearance is tight with tall RAM
- USB-C front panel cable is too short for some motherboards
- Wood panel can warp slightly in high humidity
**Thermals:** GPU (4070 SUPER) peaks at 71C, CPU (7800X3D) peaks at 74C with NH-D15. Acceptable for a case that prioritizes noise over raw airflow.
**Verdict:** If aesthetics and noise are priorities, it's the best case under $150. If you need maximum cooling performance, look at the Torrent instead.
