OCZ Vertex 2 40 GB

A 40GB 2.5" SSD on the SATA interface. Sequential throughput reaches 550 MB/s reads and 520 MB/s writes. SATA throughput caps near 550 MB/s — fine for game libraries and backups, slower for heavy scratch work. Drop it into the PlanMyPC builder to check compatibility with the rest of your parts.

Warranty coverage follows OCZ's standard policy — confirm regional terms on the listing. Scroll down for the complete spec table; the builder's compatibility checker will warn you about any conflicts with components you have already picked. The category page surfaces comparable models near the same price, which makes shortlisting against this drive straightforward.
