About This Build
This is my go-to recommendation for anyone wanting solid 1440p gaming without destroying their wallet. The 7600X and 4060 Ti combo is the sweet spot right now.
I went with the B650 Tomahawk because it has everything you need and nothing you don't. WiFi 6E, good VRMs, three M.2 slots. The 7600X doesn't need a beefy board anyway.
1440p performance is excellent. Getting 100+ fps in most AAA titles at high settings. Competitive games like Valorant and CS2 are well north of 200fps.
The Corsair 4000D Airflow is the GOAT budget case. Easy to build in, decent airflow, looks clean. Paired it with the RM750e which is more than enough headroom.
Total came in just under $1100 which I think is unbeatable for this level of performance.
